About the format
The converter reads the text layer of the PDF and rebuilds paragraphs, headings, bold and italic text in a .docx file that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages. It works best with PDFs created from text documents; scanned pages are pictures and need OCR.
